Lukas Weißhaidinger (ÖTB OÖ LA) konnte sich einen Startplatz bei den Anniversary Games bereits vor Wochen sichern und tritt einen Tag nach der Staatsmeisterschaft in Linz, die er ausließ, bereits in London an. Auch Stephanie Bendrat (Union Salzburg) hat einen Startplatz über 100m Hürden bekommen.

Lukas Weißhaidinger (ÖTB OÖ LA) belegte im Diskuswurf mit 61,10m Rang 8. Stephanie Bendrat (Union Salzburg Leichtathletik) kam im ersten 100m Hürden Vorlauf in 13,35s auf Rang 7 beim Diamond League Debüt.
