Mit Yigrim Demelash und Feyisa Lilesa bleibt der Halbmarathon aber hochwertig besetzt. Bei den Frauen führen Mary Wacera und Mamitu Daska das Feld an. Im Marathon fehlen traditionell die ganz großen Namen.
