Am Samstag morgen versucht sich Matthew Centrowitz am amerikanischen Meilenrekord (3:46,91) von Alan Webb. Bislang steht die Bestzeit des 1500m Olympiasiegers von 2016 bei 3:50.40. Mit dabei sind auch Amos Bartelsmeyer, Josh Thompson (beide laut Letsrun bis 1300m als Tempomacher) und Sam Prakel (3:50.94i), sowie Tripp Hurt (3:56.02).
