Andreas Vojta (team2012.at) findet sich auf der Startliste für die 1500m der heutigen Czech Indoor Gala in Ostrava. Beide Limits (1500m und 3000m) für die Hallen-EM in Belgrad hat Andreas bereits abgehakt, es geht also vorerst um ein gutes Rennen. Der 1500er startet um 17:50 Uhr laut Startliste auch mit Timo Benitz. Bei den 1500m der Frauen vertritt Denise Krebs den deutschsprachigen Raum.
Natürlich gibt es auch andere Highlights mit z.B.: David Storl, Kim Collins, Jasmin Stowers, Pavel Maslak und Zuzana Hejnova.

Bevor es am Samstag die Diamond League in New York halt macht, geht es am Donnerstag zum 50.ten Geburtstag in die Hauptstadt Norwegens, Oslo. Danach gibt es wieder eine etwas längere Pause bis 4. Juli. Ein besonderes Highlight könnte, wie in vielen Jahren, die abschließende Dream Mile werden. Über 5000m könnte es einen Weltrekordversuch durch Genzebe Dibaba geben, der gleichzeitig auch der Stadionrekord ihrer Schwester Tirunesh ist. Auch die Frauenlaufsiegerin Jessica O’Connell ist im Feld. Über 3000m Hindernis darf man sich auf ein erneutes Duell zwischen Jairus Birech und Ezekiel Kemboi freuen. Im Hochsprung der Männer ist wieder das Duell Mutaz Essa Barshim gegen Bohdan Bondarenko angesagt, wobei auch der Chinese Guowei Zhang mit 2,38m Saisonbestleistung sicher wieder ein Wörtchen mitreden will.

Am Donnerstag gibt es auch die nächste (4.te) Station der Diamond League 2015 und man macht erstmals im heurigen Jahr in Europa halt. Die Golden Gala Pietra Mennea war in den Vorjahren nicht immer ein Zuschauermagnet, allerdings oft ein Garant für gute Leistungen. Österreicher starten heuer keine, aber es sind einige Nachbarn aus Deutschland mit dabei.
