Am Donnerstag gab es die Pressekonferenz zur Ineos 1:59 Challenge in Wien mit Eliud Kipchoge und damit steht der Termin fest. Rund 30 TV-Stationen wollen dieses Event live übertragen. 41 Pacemaker wollen Eliud Kipchoge am Weg zum Unterschreiten der 2 Stunden marken helfen.
Für all jene die nicht live vor Ort sind, wird es vermutlich eine perfekte TV-Übertragung geben.

BBC Two überträgt von 9:30-11 Uhr MESZ. BBC One übernimmt ab 11 Uhr und übertägt bis 15:30 Uhr MESZ. und BBC Red Button (09:50-12:35) live. Von 19-20 Uhr gibt es noch Highlights auf BBC Two. Flotrack hat sich die Rechte für viele Länder gesichert, unter anderem auch für Österreich, Deutschland und die Schweiz.
Die Frauenelite startet um 10:25 Uhr MESZ, die Herren mit allen Teilnehmern folgen um 11:10 Uhr.
